About EU Settlement Scheme
The EU Settlement Scheme allows EU, EEA and Swiss citizens, and their family members, to protect their right to live, work and study in the UK after Brexit. Depending on how long you have been resident here, you may qualify for either settled status or pre-settled status. The rules around residence evidence, family relationships and late applications can be technical, and refusals are common where the documentation is weak.
