About Asylum Support
Asylum support is the housing and basic financial help provided by the Home Office to asylum seekers who would otherwise be destitute. It is not generous but it can be a lifeline while your claim is decided. Applications and reviews are handled through specific forms and processes, and refusals or sudden cessations can be challenged.
